1) Grab some friends and play one of the following word themed games listed below.

  • Snatch. An extremely fun game in which you build words by re-arranging tiles from the center of the table AND your opponents tableau.

  • Word Blur. Get your teammates to shout the mystery word.

  • Bananagrams. Like Scrabble without the board!

  • Paperback. You're an author trying to finish your novel. Very fun game! Currently out of stock, but should be back soon.

  • Unspeakable Words. Words plus Cathulu. What could be better?

Objective:

Make a find inside a public library.

Details:

1) Make a find* INSIDE a library.

Notes:

  • Find must require that you enter the library! This might mean that it is hidden in the library, or that you must gather information inside the library in order to make the find at another location.

  • You may decide to hide a geocache or letterbox in a library instead of finding one for this objective. (If you do, make sure you get permission!)

2) Take a photo that documents your adventure and post it in our Facebook group. Alternatively, you can post it on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #QuestScouts.

3) Along with the photo, tell us about your experience! If applicable, include the geocache/letterbox number.

Objective:

Introduce yourself to a librarian and ask them a question!

Details:

1) Choose a topic that you'd like to know more about. This can be anything from candle making to endangered species! You could even choose to learn more about your local library itself!

2) Travel to a library! Once there, introduce yourself to one of your local librarians. (If you already know your librarian, great, just say hi!) 

Note: This objective requires you to talk to a librarian in person!

3) Ask your librarian to help you find information about your chosen topic.

4) Take a photo documenting your library adventure and post it in our Facebook group. Alternatively, you can post it on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #QuestScouts.

5) Along with the photo, share the topic you chose and three things you learned about that topic in the comments below.
