Market Meander 🌽
It’s Member Appreciation Month! This month, we’re featuring FOUR CHALLENGES created by your fellow scouts. This week’s challenge was inspired by Jackie Thompson. Jackie challenges you to go on an adventure to your local farmer’s market!
Details:
1) Do a bit of research to find out the location and hours of a farmer's market in your area.
2) With the above information in mind, take a trip to the farmer's market. While there, make sure you take time to explore the entire market.
3) Find and buy something that is the "best of the season." Since it’s currently Fall, that would include squash, apples, pumpkins, and so much more!
4) Take a photo of something that you encounter or buy while at the market. (Jackie encourages you to document multiple things!) Share your photo(s) in a comment on our Facebook Page on the post “Weekly Challenge- Market Meander 🌽”.
5) Along with your photo(s), use your Facebook comment to tell us:
Who did you go with?
What Farmer's Market did you go?
Did you notice any difference in quality or price between the farmer’s market and your usual grocery store?
What “best of the season” item did you find? Did you try it? If so, was it any good?
