Weekly Challenge: Dark Matter
Complete the second Blackout Research Micro Objective by Increasing your understanding of “dark matter”.
In order to earn this week’s star, you’ll need to complete the second Blackout Research Micro Objective.
Details:
Most of us have HEARD of “Dark Matter,” but what exactly is it?
1) BEFORE you watch the video linked on the Blackout Micro Objective page, rate your knowledge of dark matter on a scale of 1-10, where one means you’ve never heard of the term “dark matter” before and ten means you’ve published a scientific journal article on the subject.
2) Head over to the Blackout Research Micro Objective page to watch the linked Sci Show video about “Dark Matter” matter.
3) Did you learn anything? Rate your knowledge of dark matter AFTER watching the video using the same scale you did previously.
4) To receive your star for the Weekly Challenge, head over to our Facebook Page and leave a comment on the post “Weekly Challenge- Dark Matter” letting us know your before and after ratings of your knowledge of dark matter.
5) Don’t forget to record your points! Completing this micro objective not only earns you a star, but also 50 points towards your Blackout quest!
