Weekly Challenge: 👋🏾 Slap Tag
Complete the Aerosol 50 point Art Micro Objective through creating a handmade slap tag.
Details:
1) Slap tags, also known as sticker art, are a form of graffiti that uses stickers decorated with words and/or images. Check out this wikipedia page for a bit of history about slap tags. We also found this documentary interesting, but do warn you it’s a bit off color at points.
2) Gather your supplies. You'll need a blank sticker. Historically, slap tags have been created on USPS stickers; Which is illegal, so please don’t do that! Blank labels and “Hello My Name Is” name tags are also commonly used.
While supplies last, if you order an Aerosol badge, we’ll send you two high quality stickers sourced from Priority Slaps that you can use to complete this micro objective.
You’ll also need paint, markers or another medium to create your art.
3) Create your slap tag!
4) Take a photo of your slap tag and share it on our Facebook Page as a comment on the post “👋🏾 Slap Tag.”
5) Don’t forget to record your points! Completing this challenge not only earns you a star, but also 50 points towards your Aerosol quest for completing one of our two Aerosol art micro objectives.
