Weekly Challenge:
Create a window display to bring cheer to both passerbys and your fellow scouts.
Hi Quest Scouts! Wow, these are strange times. With the majority of us practicing social distancing, many of our planned challenges must be rescheduled. However, now more than ever, the show must go on! This week’s challenge encourages you to spread a little happiness while staying safe inside.
Details:
1) Have your heard of Heart Hunters? Heart Hunters is a quickly growing Facebook Group that encourages you to create colorful, hearth themed window displays to brighten the day of passerbys. Watch the video posted above, and check out the Heart Hunters Facebook Group to learn more.
2) Create a window display of your own! Use paper to cut out shapes, then attach them to your window to create your art. Make it something encouraging and/or cheerful. If you don’t have colored paper, you might have to get creative? Use wrapping paper, printer paper, newsprint. Whatever works!
3) Take a photo of your window display and post it on our Facebook Page as a comment on our post title “Weekly Challenge- Heart Hunters.”
Star:
4) To collect your star, you must:
-Post your photo to the Facebook post mentioned above, (Steps 3)
-before April 13th, 2020
-while holding an active Quest Scouts membership.
No membership required to participate in challenges, and we hope members and non-members alike will join in on the fun.
Members receive the added bonus of collecting a star for completing the weekly challenge. (Not a member, but interested in collecting stars? You can become a member here.)
Stars will be manually tracked by Quest Scouts. Earn 10 stars and receive your first Star Catcher achievement badge.
