Objective:
Host an ice cream social.
Details:
What’s better than a party? A party with ice cream!
1) Plan your ice cream social!
Wikipedia defines an ice cream social as “an informal social event at which the main focus is the serving and eating of ice. Ice cream socials typically include multiple ice cream flavors and a variety of toppings such as syrups, whipped cream, and sprinkles for guests to choose from.”
With that in mind, you’ll need to plan:
Where your social be held? (At home? In a rented space?)
Who you will be inviting? (Make sure to invite at least a few people outside of your household)
What ice cream, toppings and syrups you will serve? (It could be fun to have guests to bring a topping pot luck style!)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you live near a fellow Quest Scout, you can also complete this objective by co-hosting with them, or simply attending a social hosted by a Quest Scout.
2) Host your ice cream social!
3) Take a photo (or multiple) of your and post it in our Facebook Group.
4) Alongside your photo, be sure to tell us:
Where you hosted your ice cream social
Who was invited?
What types of ice cream and toppings were served?
Something fun or memorable that happened
